Property & Casualty Professionals
Scott Reese
As Managing Partner, Scott oversees Alliance Insurance Group’s service to our property and casualty customers. He also designs and implements client risk management programs, including alternative market arrangements, educational training and quality management. His many years of insurance brokerage experience include a dedication to the healthcare industry.
He worked as a loss control representative for both EBI and CIGNA, and supervised the risk management division of an independent insurance agency in Northern Colorado. He is an Associate Safety Professional, an Associate in Risk Management and an Occupational Safety and Health Technologist.
Susan Bratton
An integral member of the Alliance Insurance Group practice, Susan serves as the client advocate for some of our largest healthcare and risk management accounts. She has 20 years of experience across the insurance spectrum, with a primary focus on risk placement and service. She is involved with strategic planning, marketing and the engagement of global insurance and reinsurance markets. Susan also has significant experience assisting self-insured clients.
Deborah Schluckebier
Deborah has been in the insurance industry for the past 27 years. In 1981, she started her career in personal lines with a direct writer. She joined Willis Corroon in 1989 and acquired her agents’ license in 1993. Deb brings to the Alliance team a variety of experience ranging from management of commercial property/casualty accounts to placement of all types of surety bonds. Her current duties also include providing assistance to our clients in filing and management of claims.
Susan Rendsland
Susan brings more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry to Alliance Insurance Group. She began her career at American States Insurance Company in Portland, Oregon, and worked as an underwriter 10 years before moving to the Eugene area to take a position on the agency side. Susan spent 11 years at Willis Insurance focusing on program business, marketing and customer service. She is excited to bring her experience and expertise to the Alliance team.
Yvonne Stephens
Yvonne started in the insurance industry in 1985 with Tromp & McKinley, which later became Willis. She had a variety of duties throughout the years with Willis including accounting/administrative, marketing and regional licensing for Willis’ western region office employees and agencies. Yvonne joined Alliance Insurance Group in late October of 2007.

Shannon Holt
With more than 16 years of experience in the insurance field, Shannon has extensive specialized training in the management of workers’ compensation claims, including reserving practices, permanent disability ratings and litigation. Her background includes work as a disabling claims adjuster, critical claims adjuster and claims team manager.
Shannon Holt’s claims experience and relationship with the nation’s largest insurance carriers make her a vital resource for Alliance Insurance Group clients. She actively monitors complex losses, meets with claims teams to establish service contracts and closely follows new legislative rules and case law that may affect clients and their strategies for claim cost mitigation.
Shawn Brown
Shawn works with our workers' compensation clients as client manager. Prior to working with Alliance, he spent 14 years with Providence Health Plans of Portland, Oregon, holding a variety of positions including Customer Service, Contract Administration and Information Technology. Shawn’s main focus at Alliance is assisting our customers their service needs, including issuing certificates of insurance and answering questions.

Tammy Leatherman
Tammy is the administrator in our Life and Health department. Before coming to Alliance, Tammy enjoyed being a customer service representative for the past 10 years in different professional sectors including banking, manufacturing and retail.
Risk Management Professionals
Ken Leatherman
With more than 20 years of experience in insurance and risk management, Ken has helped his clients reduce their total cost of risk by more than seven figures. He began his career as a property claims adjuster with Aetna Casualty & Surety, serving clients that included Lockheed and General Dynamics, and becoming very familiar with general liability and property coverage.
Ken also worked as an agent with Smith & Crakes Insurance Agency, and served KPD Insurance as an agent and consultant for clients creating leadership transition plans. In 1995, he became general manager for KPD and doubled the firm’s premiums during the next four years. He is excited to offer his knowledge and expertise to the clients of Alliance Insurance Group.

Phyllis Kraal
Phyllis has over 30 years of experience in providing specialized insurance services. She has experience in property and casualty insurance, providing services to numerous types of business industries. She has worked with numerous clients including those in manufacturing, life science, technology, hospitality, public entity, consumer products, construction and financial services.
Loss Control
Joe Mullens
Joe has extensive experience in loss control and working with companies in providing safety training classes, mock OSHA inspections and safety audits. Joe is very qualified to provide the in-depth analysis and review that your company can use.
Bob Williams
Bob Williams has spent the majority of his career working with companies like Simpson Timber Co., Georgia Pacific Corp., Louisiana Pacific Corp and others as an operations manager. Bob has been very successful improving processes that resulted in both higher productivity and a safer place to work. Bob is an expert in both OR-OSHA SHARP and VPP programs. Current safety consulting experiences include Wood products, Logging, Restaurants, Breweries and Aggregate Mining to just name a few.
Accounting
Tina Parrett
Tina graduated from Lane Community College with an associate degree in accounting. She started her career in 1982 by joining Tromp and McKinley Insurance Company as Accounting Assistant. After working in that capacity for 10 years, she moved into the Accounting Manager role and worked another 15 years. She recently joined Alliance Insurance Group as Accounting Department Manager and is responsible for daily accounting functions.
Marketing
Jon Gehrett
As Director of Marketing for Alliance Insurance Group, Jon's primary role is to analyze our clients' business operations, help develop loss containment and risk transfer strategies, and in turn negotiate and implement those strategies with and through our insurance company partners.
Following graduation from Willamette University with a degree in economics, Jon began his 24+ year insurance career as a Commercial Casualty Underwriter for the Aetna Casualty & Surety Company. Utilizing this considerable knowledge in commercial liability coverage and risk analysis, his account marketing expertise was developed while working alongside the Fortune 500 clients of Marsh & McLennan. In addition to marketing, his career also includes time as an agent and as a wholesale broker.
